The all-round talent among the machines at Happylab! Our laser cutters can cut and engrave a wide variety of materials such as wood, cardboard, plexiglass, leather, fabric and metal with a focused infrared laser beam. In addition, there are some materials that can only be engraved - such as glass.

Our 3D printers use digital templates to create three-dimensional objects out of plastic. Two different processes are available at Happylab Vienna:  3D printers using the fused deposition modeling process (FDM) heat the material and apply it layer by layer. In the stereolithography process (SLA), a light-curing plastic (synthetic resin) is cured in thin layers by a laser beam.

The CNC milling machine is the right machine for all "tough cases" and large workpieces. Our portal milling machines can process objects made of wood, plastic, metal and other materials. Circuit boards can also be drilled, milled and cut out automatically. A selection of milling cutters is available in our shop!

Motifs and lettering can be cut out of foils with the cutting plotter. A small knife traces the contours of the graphic without damaging the backing paper. The machine is often used for wall tattoos, adhesive lettering or for printing on textiles. A selection of adhesive and textile transfer foils is available in our shop!

Our metal workshop is equipped with machines and tools for professional metal work. A wide variety of metals - including steel and aluminum - can be cut with the metal laser. The welding station offers the possibility of MAG and TIG welding. Devices for milling, turning, grinding and sheet metal processing are also available.

For the use of the metal workshop, completion of the General Safety Instruction (GSI Metal) is a required.

Happylab has its own wood workshop for professional woodwork. Large-format panels can be processed with our 3-axis portal milling machine including an automatic tool changer. In addition, the wood workshop is equipped with machines and tools for planing, turning, milling, sawing, grinding and gluing.

For the use of the wood workshop, completion of the General Safety Instruction (GSI Wood) is a required.

In addition to all the digital production machines, Happylab also has a workshop for small wood and metal works. Our workshop is equipped with workbenches and common hand tools - from screwdrivers and drills to various saws and sanding devices.

No training is required to use the hobby workshop.

Our electronics workstation is equipped with the necessary equipment to easily manufacture electronic circuits. 

"For beginners in electronics, we offer an introduction to the world of electronics. However, this training is not a prerequisite for using the electronics workspace.

In the finishing area there is a sandblasting cabin and a splash wall for finishing surfaces.

For the use of the finishing area, a training is required.

In our co-working space, 20 office workstations, a meeting room, kitchen & lounge are available on 150 m2 in a quiet and cozy atmosphere - including high-speed WLAN & air conditioning in all rooms.

At Happylab, there are two event spaces available: one accommodating up to 12 people and a larger room that can accommodate up to 40 people.

Both rooms are equipped with chairs, tables, a projector or video screen, and a flipchart. Upon request, hot and cold beverages can also be provided for a fee. In addition, guests have access to the lounge on the ground floor and the tea kitchen on the 1st floor.

The rental conditions are as follows:

Small room: €30 per hour or €200 for the entire day (from 09:00 to 17:00) Large room: €60 per hour or €400 for the entire day (from 09:00 to 17:00)

For events from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) between 09:00 and 17:00, there are no additional costs for technical support. Outside of these hours, a fee of €80 per hour will be charged for staff assistance.

All prices mentioned are exclusive of 20% VAT.
